Rising Buffalo Tribe established in 2009, is an original reggae band based out of Portland, OR. Driven with the intention to fully submerge themselves in art of roots reggae specifically. With the devotion to contribute something original to the timeless spiritual sound. The core group now being a four-piece is a tight rhythm section, emphasizing heavy drum and bass, that create ethereal dubscapes in the process. Their thematic music can be slow & mellow for thoughtful meditation, as well as change levels with ska and rocksteady making a warm dance. Harnessing the majestic vehicle of reggae music to dispel ignorance, and deliver understanding. Known to always bring a stampede when live and direct.

Michael Leslie is a rising young singer / songwriter from Eugene. Building on years of work as a live backing musician, a recent trip to a Jamaica, and lifelong spiritual experience, Michael Leslie has solidified his calling as a roots reggae messenger. His music is a calling for Harmony and unity amongst mankind. This will be a chance to support one of Michael’s original performances backed by Rising Buffalo Tribe.
