Chi Walking, Chi Running and Chi Walk-Run
- Instructor: Keith McConnell, PhD
Chi Walking, Chi Running and the integrated approach of Chi Walk-Run are innovative and powerful ways to move with more ease and efficiency. These approaches draw from the concepts of T’ai Chi and support a natural path to health and lifelong fitness and may lead to an increased capacity for distance and speed in one’s walking or running thereby being beneficial to participants in walking or running events. They also can make hiking trails and hills easier and more enjoyable. Learn some basics in this non-impact, theoretical and experiential presentation. A free event with no preregistration required. Keith McConnell, PhD, is a certified ChiWalking/ChiRunning Master Instructor who teaches walking and running courses at UO as well as workshops in Eugene and the greater Northwest.
